Alternatives — Angular: build a dashboard with reusable components
Other options and how to choose
Understand components, shared services and validation through a customer-management dashboard.
Available options
Split the screen into components
A dashboard can combine a customer table, filters and an edit form. Each component handles a defined interface responsibility. Reuse status badges and pagination, without creating so many tiny parts that the feature becomes hard to follow.
Keep API calls in services
A customer service loads records and saves edits. Angular dependency injection makes it available where needed. Explicitly show loading, empty and error states so a failed request does not look like an empty customer database.
Validate on client and server
Browser validation gives fast feedback, but the backend must validate again and enforce permissions. Hiding an edit button does not block unauthorized API requests. Test clear labels and keyboard navigation as part of the user experience.
Our recommendation : Components display; services share behavior; the backend enforces permissions.
